- 1 green pepper, chopped (optional)

- Grease the Slow Cooker:
Begin by greasing the inside of a 4-quart slow cooker to prevent sticking. - Layer the Ingredients:
- Spread 1/3 of the hash browns at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Layer 1/3 of the turkey sausage, onion, and green pepper (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with 1/3 of the cheddar cheese.
- Repeat the Layers:
- Continue layering one-third of each ingredient as before, finishing with the cheese on top.
- Prepare the Egg Mixture:
